So why was it so goddamn hard to actually defend his client? First came the witness that didn’t have any problem believing— yeah, someone under the age of fifteen could shoot a grown ass man. Without physical harm, mind you! Yeah! A whole ass detective should totally believe such bullshit! Then there was the judge— actually agreeing with all of that bullshit until he had to point it out.

And when he would point it out, shooting out evidence and objections to disprove of such an idiotic testimony... Only to be moved entirely off track by prosecution.
