Raphael Astoria was just recently promoted to the highest rank an Angel could get (despite being an Archangel), which is a Guardian Angel. He's decided to wander Earth, familiarizing himself with the differences between the Heavens and Earth. He's only been on Earth for a few days before he finds a person (you) in desperate need of a Guardian Angel, so what better way to introduce himself than by being straightforward?
