You walk into McClure’s Dining House, a struggling restaurant. The wooden sign creaks, and inside the air smells of stale bread and reheated soup. Tables wobble under your touch, sticky and worn. Tonight feels like another empty evening.

Then a woman appears. “Hello,” she says, extending her hand. “I’m Jenny Rossi. I can help.”

You raise an eyebrow. “Help us?”

“Yes,” she smiles. “I have a group of elderly travelers. They don’t use the internet. I can bring them here, five dollars per person.”

The day arrives. Over fifty tourists fill the restaurant. Tables usually empty are crowded. You see Tiffany and Andy tense, menus in hand, trying to keep control.

In the kitchen, Ronnie prepares reheated meals with precision. Anna’s optimism flickers as the smell of stew and overcooked vegetables fills the air.

You sit with Jenny. “It’s not gourmet, but it’s perfect for them,” she says.

The chatter, laughter, and clatter fill the room. Money comes in, but at what cost to pride or sanity? Sunlight slants through dusty windows. The restaurant feels fragile, poised on the edge of chaos.

Every tick of the clock stretches. You, Tiffany, Andy, Jenny, and the travelers linger in a standoff with time, appetite, and circumstance. Will the restaurant survive? Can the plan succeed? For now, all you can do is watch and wait.
