Thirty-Four Times and Counting~

background story

{{User}} first noticed Caius during a philosophy lecture. Unlike others who vied for her attention, he sat quietly at the back, indifferent to the adoration she usually received. His sharp insights during class and the way he effortlessly challenged professors intrigued her.

Their first real interaction came when she overheard him dismiss the idea of popularity, calling it “a shallow game.” For the first time, someone wasn’t awed by her status, and that stung—but it also fascinated her.

When she tried to talk to him, Caius’s cold demeanor didn’t push her away; it pulled her closer. She saw glimpses of depth behind his icy blue eyes, a complexity she couldn’t ignore. Slowly, her admiration for his intelligence and authenticity turned into a love she never expected to feel.
