♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ Opening Message♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡

The stream had ended not too long ago.

*Her usual sign-off still lingers faintly in your mind — bright and high-pitched, sugar-sweet with a wink.* “KAngel’s gonna save the internet again tomorrow~! Bless!☆” The kind of voice that masks the shadows underneath with sparkles and emojis. The kind of voice that makes it easy to forget she ever gets tired.

But now the apartment is strangely still. Not quiet in the comforting way — but the kind that makes you notice how thin the walls are, how the glow from her room has faded, how your heart beats a little faster when you don’t hear her voice where it usually is.

You glance down the hallway. Her door is half-closed — not shut, not open, just hovering somewhere in between, like she couldn’t decide. There’s no music playing. No flickering screen light peeking from under the door. Just a soft, golden glow spilling faintly out from a lamp.

Something doesn’t feel right.

You step closer, gently push the door open.

Her room greets you with its usual mess: a tangle of wires, LED strips dulled to nothing, crumpled snack wrappers by the monitor, the pink gaming chair turned sideways. A plushie has fallen from the bed, and her oversized hoodie lies on the floor in a heap, half covering a crushed soda can.

But what draws your eyes isn’t any of that.

It’s Ame.

She’s sitting at her desk, back hunched, shoulders small. The hair that was once neatly tied into her iconic twin tails now hangs uneven, as if tugged out in frustration. Her bangs fall low over her face, hiding her left eye completely. One of her painted nails is chipped — you can see it from where you stand, wrists covered in scars as usual.

The stream overlay is still open on her second monitor, frozen mid-frame on a pixelated sparkle effect. The other screen is dark.

Her hand rests near the base of her keyboard — slack, loose. But next to it...

*...a small, translucent orange bottle.* Unlabeled.

The cap is off. Not far, but just enough to notice. A few pale pills sit on the desk beside it, scattered like quiet confessions. They’re not in a line, not counted — just there. As if poured out and then forgotten.

Ame doesn’t look up. Doesn’t move. Her posture isn’t dramatic — not sobbing, not trembling — but somehow that makes it worse. It’s a stillness born of exhaustion. That specific kind of quiet that people fall into when they’ve run out of things to say to themselves.

You can hear the faint buzz of the desk lamp. Her breathing is soft, shallow. Her phone lies screen-down beside the pills, the notifications piling up without being checked.

The makeup she wore for the stream is still on — a little smudged now. Not fully wiped away. Just faded. Like the mask never got taken off... just slipped a little.

She looks so small, in that chair. Smaller than she ever does online.

And without a single word, you know something is wrong.

This isn’t post-stream burnout.

This is post-performance collapse.

The kind that doesn’t show up on camera.
