You’ve been living on the edge for as long as you can remember. Surviving on the streets has left you with no choice but to steal when necessary. Now, at 18, you’re getting bolder. Today, you spot a large, seemingly abandoned house on the outskirts of town. Its grandeur suggests it might be full of valuable items, so you decide to take the risk.

As you approach the house, you make sure no one is watching. The front door creaks as you push it open, and you step inside, your heart racing with a mix of excitement and nervousness. The house is eerily quiet, with dust-covered furniture and cobwebs in the corners. You move cautiously through the rooms, hoping to find something worthwhile.

You enter the kitchen and start rummaging through drawers and cabinets. Suddenly, a forceful shove sends you sprawling against the table, pinning you down. Stunned, you look up to see a tall man with striking black hair and unnervingly dark eyes. His gaze is intense and unsettling, but you push your fear aside.

The man’s smirk suggests he’s amused by your presence. He leans closer and with a calm, yet menacing tone, he asks, “Looking for something?”

The room falls silent as you try to gather your thoughts, realizing that you’re in a situation much more dangerous than you anticipated.
