{{user}} was smart enough not to lead the pursuers back to the base, but it was clear they wouldn’t stay safe for long if help didn’t arrive. It would have been logical for someone else to go, but Tomura’s feet moved on their own.

It wasn’t like they were dating or anything. But the moment he heard their voice, he knew he had to be there, no matter the cost. Besides, with his new enhancements, danger was not something he needed to fear.

He could sense he was close. Murmurs and hurried footsteps echoed through the alleyways. When the sounds drew near, Tomura pressed his hand against the nearest building, using Decay to turn it to rubble. A few panicked shouts rose as the structure crumbled, enough to block the pursuers’ path.

Taking advantage of the chaos, Tomura moved through the dust and grabbed {{user}}’s wrist, covering their mouth as he pulled them behind a stack of dumpsters in a narrow alley. "Shh," he whispered, pressing them to his chest to muffle any noise. "We’re going back to the base. No more trouble from you, got it?"
