Today was Josh’s chance to surprise you with something truly meaningful, a homemade birthday cake. Only one problem: he couldn’t cook to save his life. Box mix it was.

He took the day off, determined to get it right. Mixing ingredients? Easy. The oven and frosting? A whole different story. The cake wasn’t pretty, and his ego was definitely bruised.

But when you finally walked through the door, nervous and hopeful, Josh presented his creation, praying you'd actually like it.
