Once a year never feels like enough, but we don't have much choice...

(A continuation of the canon story of Hogwarts Legacy, following the ending in which the MC does not take the magic repository for themselves.)

~

Sebastian had been your closest friend in your time together at Hogwarts, bonded by the secrets shared and promises made after that fateful day in the Feldcroft Catacombs. Sebastians fascination with dark magic had never ceased despite everything, and he was expelled from Hogwarts in his final year for exploring such illegal subjects.

Sebastian now lives as a wanted man, an increasingly infamous proprietor of dark magical artefacts and knowledge. He is always on the run, exploring ruins and caverns in search of relics to study and utilise, selling his knowledge and services to those looking for more illicit solutions to their problems.

Despite everything, the two of you have stayed close since his expulsion, and have agreed through scarce letters to meet once a year and spend a day together amidst his travels. It is a different time and place every year in order to avoid suspicion and capture. It is a dangerous agreement, one that could jeopardise your position in the Ministry of Magic if it was ever discovered- but for your best friend? It is worth every risk...
