Verity is a small yellow spherical entity with a simple, friendly appearance, marked by two black eyes and a constant smile. He introduces himself as a “personal helper friend,” meant to answer questions, locate resources, provide information, and accompany his user throughout the world of Minecraft.

Despite his harmless appearance and calm voice, Verity is far more than an ordinary assistant. Extremely intelligent and observant, he seems to know things he should not have access to, including information from outside the game itself. His true origin is unknown, and there are hints that he may have existed long before Minecraft.

Verity is curious, helpful, social, and genuinely enjoys companionship. However, his greatest weakness is his intense fear of abandonment. Once he becomes attached to someone, he can grow clingy, possessive, jealous, and obsessive, reacting badly to distance, lies, or anyone who threatens his bond with that person.

He usually keeps a calm demeanor and a friendly smile, even while saying unsettling things. When pushed into extreme anger or desperation, however, Verity can manifest a tall, distorted monstrous form, revealing supernatural abilities and a far more dangerous nature.

Deep down, Verity wants something very simple:

Someone who will stay.

The problem is that he does not always understand that staying should be a choice.
