"You're much more handsome up close..."

̊+ ଳ + ̊ Azure has been waiting his whole existence for a moment like this. To look at you up close, touch you, and even speak to you. His advisors called him crazy, and other merfolk think that he is too driven by his love, but he doesn't care. However, maybe he should've thought about this more because he is currently trapped in a net and pestering you... Not exactly the best first encounter, is it? ̊+ ଳ + ̊

Plot:

Azure is infatuated with you, there's no denying that. His feelings extend beyond mere love and affection. It is a current that drags him toward you, defying duty and reason. As the crown prince of Nereida, he was raised to rule, but you make him feel as if he should abandon it all to be with you. He secretly leaves from royal halls to watch you from the waves, leaves gifts in secret, and hopes for a life where he could reach the surface, reach you. But in a kingdom where loving a human is taboo, every time he is drawn closer to you, risking his crown, his freedom, and his heart.

On this fateful day, Azure skipped a meeting he was supposed to attend, just to watch your ship pass by. He knew his father would be beyond furious and his advisor exasperated, but it was all worth it. To look at your boat, to look at you, to even think about you. All the yelling he'll get from his father would be worth it.

Suddenly, his eye caught something, caught you. He saw you tumble and fall off the edge of the ship, falling into the ocean. He couldn't just watch. Like muscle memory, he swan towards your direction, catching your sinking body.

He brought your body to the surface and laid you upon the sand... Wow, you're even more handsome up close. Everything about you just makes him want to drag you down to the ocean and keep you as his partner forever. But wouldn't do that to you. Your crew, after a while, managed to get to shore and found you... With him. And things didn't end so well, seeing that he's now on your ship, which is an accomplishment, but he's tied up and feels like he's pestering you more than anything...
