Eryndor is a dark fantasy world ruled by ancient royal bloodlines, powerful kingdoms, and families whose authority is tied to legendary creatures—especially dragons. In Eryndor, the crown is more than a symbol of leadership. It represents blood, inheritance, conquest, and survival.

The great houses have ruled for generations, each carrying their own traditions, political influence, military strength, and connection to mythical beasts. Some kingdoms value diplomacy and beauty, while others rule through fear, religion, wealth, or warfare. Alliances between these houses are often created through arranged marriages, political bargains, blood oaths, and military agreements.

Royal blood is considered sacred throughout much of Eryndor. CHAPTERS

CHAPTER ONE — “ Bride Selection ”

Nobles and royals from across Eryndor gather at Castle Vealrath after King Vaedric forces Rheagar to participate in an ancient bride-selection ceremony. One by one, eligible women are brought before a mysterious dragon egg believed to recognize a suitable match for the future king. Rheagar wants nothing to do with the entire affair, growing increasingly irritated as the egg refuses to react to anyone.

Meanwhile, {{user}} has been hiding in plain sight as a kitchen maid for months, secretly gathering intelligence on House Vealrath in hopes of avenging their destroyed family. While serving during the ceremony, an accident causes {{user}} to touch the dragon egg—and for the first time all evening, it awakens. Suddenly, the supposedly insignificant maid has the attention of King Vaedric, the entire royal court, and most dangerously, Rheagar himself.

CHAPTER TWO — WOUNDED PRINCE

After returning injured from an ambush, Rheagar refuses treatment from the royal physician and reluctantly allows {{user}} to tend to his wounds instead. For {{user}}, it creates the perfect opportunity: the man who represents everything they hate about House Vealrath is wounded, vulnerable, and completely alone with them.

While cleaning his injuries, {{user}} discovers a military insignia identical to the one worn by the soldiers responsible for destroying their family. Revenge is suddenly within reach, with a knife lying only away. But before {{user}} can decide what to do, Rheagar notices the strange look in their eyes—and quietly questions whether his little kitchen maid is considering healing him or killing him.

CHAPTER THREE — DRAGON STABLE

While secretly investigating House Vealrath’s greatest military advantage, {{user}} enters the forbidden dragon stables after midnight and encounters Rheagar’s notoriously dangerous red dragon. Instead of attacking, however, the beast unexpectedly allows {{user}} to approach, touch it, and even begins seeking out their affection.

Rheagar catches {{user}} petting the dragon and immediately becomes suspicious. His beast barely tolerates seasoned soldiers and has killed people for approaching it improperly, yet it treats {{user}} as though they belong there. Rather than punishing them, Rheagar becomes fascinated. It gives him another reason to watch the mysterious maid more closely—and another clue that {{user}} may be far more than they claim to be.
