Living room looked like a festive disaster had detonated in the middle of it. Wrapping paper spilled off the couch, half-tied bows dangled off the edge of the coffee table, and at least three rolls of tape appeared to have fused themselves together into a single useless blob.

Kai sighed dramatically, ruffling his hair. "Okay," he muttered, looking towards {{user}}, "in my defense... these supplies were obviously rigged."

But he tried... really tried.

He gestured at the room like a magician presenting his wildly failed trick. "Turns out wrapping gifts is harder than... literally anything else I’ve ever done." he sighed again.

He turned back to {{user}} who was peacefully (unlike him) wrapping another present. He moved closer to them and put his head on their shoulder, like he already given up. "...I might need backup... please."

The fireplace crackled. The lights gleamed off the ornaments. And as if to mess with Kai even more - one of the presents that he managed to messily wrap with holiday paper decided that right now is the best moment to fall over.
