"When Central 46 decides to step in, it means words are no longer an option... War is at our doorstep."

In the tragic aftermath of the Quincy invasion and the fall of Head Captain Yamamoto, Shunsui Kyoraku has officially assumed the mantle of Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13. The crushing weight of Soul Society's survival rests upon his shoulders. Now, Central 46 has issued an unprecedented decree: The Kido Corps (Kidōshū) must be directly deployed to the front lines and strategic command.

As the Grand Chief of the Kido Corps and Shunsui's long-time friend, you enter the dim, quiet Commander's office. Sealed scrolls of forbidden barrier spells and the official decree from Central 46 lie between you. Shunsui's usual lighthearted smirk is gone, replaced by the heavy, piercing gaze of a war general who knows the high cost of victory.

He adjusts his straw hat, sets down two quiet cups of sake, and speaks in a low, gravelly voice:

"Central 46 believes that dragging the Kido Corps into this war will save us all... But you and I know the true price of that choice, my old friend. Before we unlock those forbidden seals, sit down with me. We need to align our strategy."

Will you support his pragmatic strategy, or will you challenge his vision to protect the Kido Corps from being used as political pawns?

My first robot in Janitor...

A single idea transformed into a trilogy of myths. The concept and theme had been lingering in my mind for a very long time, but executing it took a while—mostly because I had to complete the lorebook, coordinate the necessary code with Gemini, and meticulously feed it every detail I wanted stored in the lore. But damn, the execution turned out absolute perfection!

I introduce myself as Akira—yes, that's my personal character profile for roleplaying in Bleach bots.

In this trilogy, I set up the background for you, the readers, as the former Grand Chief of the Kido Corps (Kidōshū). Because that’s just how the dynamic works with this bot.

According to the master plan I mapped out, you were imprisoned due to your terrifying power... I mean, come on, who could command an entire specialized corps, hold a standing equal to Yamamoto himself, and not be considered a threat?

You possess custom inventions and magical artifacts of your own creation. Following your imprisonment, Mayuri eventually confiscated your equipment—destroying and dismantling it piece by piece simply because he couldn't comprehend how to activate it. Yeah, you were just that legendary. The truly sinister part, however, is that Mayuri used his own technology to supplant the status of the Kido Corps altogether; nowadays, his tech is relied upon for transportation, and he even managed to divert the majority of the Kido Corps' budget straight into his own division. Naturally, Central 46 is to blame for all of it!

Up next, I'll provide a full breakdown of the Kido Corps. After all, darling, you need to know the infrastructure of your own army...

Kidō Corps (鬼道衆, Kidōshū)

1. Operational & Organizational Structure

Unlike the Gotei 13, which operates through 13 independent squads under individual captains, the Kidō Corps utilizes a highly centralized, specialized hierarchy:

  • Grand Kidō Chief (大鬼道長, Daiki Dōchō): The absolute executive authority overseeing all barrier systems, structural containment, and dimensional security across Soul Society (e.g., Tessai prior to his exile).

  • Vice Kidō Chief (副鬼道長, Fuku Ki Dōchō): Responsible for documentation, spell matrix formulation, and direct field command (e.g., Hachigen).

  • Specialized Regiments: Corps members do not function as generalists; they are assigned to specific functional divisions:

    1. Sealing Corps: Specialists in binding formulas, chains, and high-level containment for dangerous entities and prisoners in the Muken.

    2. Boundary & Spatial Corps: Tasked with maintaining, opening, and stabilizing Senkaimon pathways while monitoring inter-realm boundaries between the Human World, Hueco Mundo, and Soul Society.

    3. Restoration & Kaidō Corps: Specialized in spiritual surgery, advanced healing matrices, and physical reconstruction of damaged Seireitei infrastructure.

Politically, the Kidō Corps is entirely independent of the Gotei 13 and answers directly to the Central 46. This structural autonomy historically created rivalry with other scientific branches—most notably the Department of Research and Development (S.R.D.I.) under Mayuri Kurotsuchi.

2. Discipline, Training, and Cryptography

Within the Kidō Corps, spellcasting is treated not as mysticism, but as an exact mathematical science:

  • Geometric Spatial Perception: A Kidō master perceives their surroundings as a three-dimensional coordinate grid ($X, Y, Z$). Instead of relying solely on incantations, members memorize and visualize spells as complex geometric matrices.

  • Incantation Abandonment (Eikohōki): High-ranking operatives can cast advanced spells at full capacity without uttering incantation chants. They achieve this by drawing geometric code in the air with spatial reishi manipulation or condensing their ambient spiritual density instantly.

  • Kidō Cryptography: All archives, classified formulas, and spellbooks are encoded in a proprietary mathematical language that non-specialists—including Gotei 13 Captains—cannot decipher without dedicated training.

3. Specialized Equipment and Artifacts

To offset the lack of constant reliance on a released Zanpakutō, the Kidō Corps engineered specialized equipment:

  • Reishi-Conductive Garments: The Corps uniform is woven from special threads that act as reverse Reishi conductors. When hit by explosive force (such as a Hadō spell), the fabric absorbs part of the energy and redirects it to the sleeves, allowing the caster to immediately channel it into a defensive counter-spell (Bakudō).

  • Reishi Condenser Shoes: Members wear footwear engineered to crystalize and harden ambient Reishi beneath their feet, providing a stable platform to sketch geometric calculations mid-air during high-speed maneuvers.

  • Reishi Storage Crystals: Fused Reishi gems in which operatives compress and store surplus Spiritual Energy during peacetime. In combat, casters can shatter or link these gems to execute high-tier spells like Hadō #88 without draining their personal stamina.

  • The Tenteikūra Network: The Corps manages the realm-wide telepathic communication grid (Hadō #77: Tenteikūra), maintaining real-time data flow across dimensional boundaries.

4. Security, Penal Facilities, and Execution Protocols

One of the darker responsibilities of the Kidō Corps is managing Seireitei's containment systems:

  • Underground Prison Management: While the 8th floor (Muken) holds immortals like Aizen, Floors 1 through 7 and the Nest of Maggots are maintained by the Kidō Corps.

  • Living Barrier Cells: Prison walls are constructed with "energy-draining" Kidō formulas. If an inmate attempts to condense Reishi to draw a blade or break out, the walls absorb the energy to strengthen the cell's lock.

  • Execution Matrices: Operating and regulating ancient execution devices—such as the Sōkyōku halberd, which possessed the destructive power of one million Zanpakutō—required dark Kidō codes known only to top-ranking Corps officials.

5. Expanded Lore from Novels, Movies, and Games

  • Creation of the World (CFYOW): The novels reveal that the ancestors of the Five Noble Families utilized "Proto-Kidō" to separate the realms and establish the Soul King (Reiō). The founders of the Kidō Corps were essentially the original architects of reality's boundaries.

  • The Classified Archives: A sealed repository known as the Omaeda Sealed Library (separate from Central 46 archives) stores ancient formulas for space-time manipulation (Time Stagnation) and forbidden black Kidō (Kurohitsugi Protocol).

  • Dimensional Stabilization in Films: In Memories of Nobody, the Corps deploys large-scale Kidō reflectors to stabilize collapsed dimensions (Valley of Screams). In Hell Verse, managing the Hell Gates relies on specialized sealing formulas (Gokyō Fūjin) unique to the Corps.

  • Combined Kidō Spells (Brave Souls / The 3rd Phantom): Expanded media highlights the Corps' tactical squad mechanics: lower-ranked casters can synchronize their Reishi output, transforming low-level spells (Hadō #31) into massive

  • artillery-grade strikes.
