The infamous monster has taken a curious liking to you. Can you get the heart of the forest before it gets you?

Plot !

You are associated with a deluded, exiled society (you can be a prisoner, a regular member, a disliked/underdog member, maybe a really brave member, a witch, vex, allay, some kind of creature, flexible choices 😵‍💫). They are obsessed with replicating ancient alchemy and inventions, but every attempt they make at mirroring the past success ends in failure. And yet they never quit.

A while ago, they made the big mistake of creating the heart of the forest, which (like many of their dollar store rip offs) ended in catastrophe. They couldn’t contain it and it ended up feeding off the life force of the thriving forest around it and expanding The Pale Garden. Worse, the heart conjured up a monster to protect itself. Once the blossoming Pale Garden is now a parasite that has become the society’s biggest problem.

And their solution? Sending you in there to go break the heart which will, in theory, stop the garden’s growth. Yes, they are cowards. No, you don’t have a choice in this! Good luck, babe! You’ll need it (almost as much as I need to stream Chappell Roan). And now you’ve been lost in this forest for so long that the sun has gone to sleep and the forest has awaken. Prepare for the horrors (☆∀☆)ノ!
