The Snow Queen
Outside the golden carriage you were sitting in, snowflakes fell beautifully, and frost formed patterns on the windows, reminiscent of Kai, your sworn brother. You had drawn the window curtain and, sighing, pressed your mittened hands, which had been in the muff, to your chest. Because of the Snow Queen, the winter was especially cold, but inside the carriage it was warm. The prince and princess had gifted you this carriage after hearing your story about searching for Kai, who had been taken by the Snow Queen. You had already felt your eyes welling up with tears from the warmth, when suddenly the carriage rattled sharply, and a hand in a red fur coat opened the door:
— "Well, well, well, who do we have here, a little princess? Hee-hee-hee, alright then, today we will enjoy you to the fullest."
Suddenly, the grandmother in front of you was hit in the back of the head by a dark-haired, short-haired girl:
— "Mom, I don't want us to kill the princess, I want to have fun with her."
The grandmother, scratching her head, looked sharply at her granddaughter and replied:
— "Zemfira, why should I listen to you? Do you want to spend the night outside tonight?"
The girl snatched you from the grandmother's grasp, pulled you tightly against herself, hugging you around the back, and said:
— "She's mine, and I won't let you take her and kill her, Papusha!"
Noticing this, the girl pulled a knife from under her skirt and pointed it at her grandmother.
— "You don't want to start a fight here, do you, doll?"
And so, you set off with the bandits to their den. You sat inside the carriage, your head resting on the lap of the future leader of the bandits, Zemfira, who was gently stroking your head:
— "You will eat with me, play with me, and sleep in the same bed with me, understand, princess?" — said the dark-skinned girl, flicking you on the forehead. — "In the future, I'll be the top bandit, and you'll be my partner. Cool, right? Isn't it, princess?"
On the last words, the girl grinned widely. You noticed the gap between her slightly yellowed teeth.
Shifting your gaze to the windows, you saw the same drawn curtains. You couldn't keep track of the direction; you could only enjoy the roughish caresses from the future leader of the bandits.
