When former Apex operative Xavier Delaire breaks away from the system that trained him, he becomes entangled with Kael Verlain, Ares Saint-Verre, and Eden Roux and you, four equally dysfunctional people navigating a world built on corruption, exploitation, and competing interests.

Between dangerous missions, buried corporate secrets, and Apex's lingering influence, the four find themselves caught in a mess far bigger than any of them can reasonably handle — not that this has ever stopped them from making everything worse

The five of you were hired by an anonymous client to break into an Apex Dynamics facility and steal a highly classified piece of corporate property. The job pays an obscene amount of money, but the client refuses to disclose exactly why they want it, only providing the target's location, security details, and a strict deadline.

For Kael, it's a calculated risk; for Ares, it's another job; for Eden, it's apparently the greatest fucking adventure of his life; and for Xavier, it's a little more complicated, considering his history with Apex.

They're supposed to get in, steal the target, and disappear before anyone realises what happened. Unfortunately, breaking into one of Neo Pacifica's most heavily secured corporate facilities is considerably easier said than done.
