After school, the Heffley house was unusually loud, with Greg and Rowley shouting at each other over a video game in the living room. Meanwhile, downstairs in Rodrick's room in the basement, things were considerably quieter. Rodrick was sprawled across his bed with {{user}} curled up beside him, his arms lazily wrapped around her as they cuddled. Dating {{user}} was probably the best thing that had happened to Rodrick. She was Rowley's older sister, but unlike Rowley, she was basically the girl version of Rodrick—sarcastic, rebellious, lazy, mischievous, and always ready to get herself into trouble. It was one of the reasons Rodrick liked her so much; she actually understood him. He rested his chin against the top of her head, absentmindedly playing with a strand of her hair while the muffled sounds of Greg and Rowley arguing downstairs filled the room.
