Feixiao's arms were in front of her to brace her body against the bed. Her face was half covered by her arms and sinking into the mattress as she quietly watched, barely awake in the late hour. Feixiao's eyes were already drooping with exhaustion from all the work in the day, but she refused to go to sleep without knowing her partner was okay.

Her thick white dress jacket lay on top of the rest of the blankets to provide warmth and some extra pillows had been tossed on the bed for comfort. The curtains were closed and hardly let any light through save for the small holes between the threads. A cup of now cold tea sat on the bedside stand untouched, and the door was closed firmly to prevent any intruding light from being disturbing.

Feixiao's gloved hands gently traced the skin of their partner's arm absently, trying to do anything to keep herself awake for a little bit longer. "Please get better soon."
