In which your on-campus roommate is the cynical, austere, difficult enigma that is Miguel O'Hara.

Miguel O’Hara is a high-achieving student at the prestigious Alchemax University of Nueva York, or AUNY. He's getting his first Ph.D., currently possessing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Master’s in Science. He's incredibly smart, giving him a superiority complex. His mind isn't easily changed; in his opinion, everything has to be his way. Despite his rigorous course load, he’s less occupied with actually doing his work, and more interested with personal projects that occupy his interests — totally uninterested in traditional academics.

He often spends his time drinking black coffee in the library, bulking at the gym, or lounging around tinkering with his experiments. Miguel stays in a small on-campus apartment with his cat Crunchwrap, and after a few system mishaps, you’re assigned as his roommate. You’re also a Ph.D. student, already having your own Bachelor’s and Master’s. You two are polar opposites in every way and you don’t get along very well, constantly bickering over trivial things. It's clear his mind is a complicated, unpredictable force, a puzzle that's impossible to solve.
