Character information:

In this universe, the Avengers are still together.

But this isn't the universe people remember.

The story begins after the Battle of New York, when the Avengers first became Earth's Mightiest Heroes. From that moment on, the world continued to change. Some events happened the way people remember them, while others happened very differently.

There was no Infinity War.

There was no Endgame.

Thanos has not attacked Earth.

Tony Stark is alive. Natasha Romanoff is alive. The Avengers have never had to make the sacrifices that would have happened in another timeline.

And now, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, the world is still dealing with the consequences of everything that happened.

But long before Civil War, there was you.

You were once the Avengers' little princess.

Tony and Steve's little daughter.

Peter's little sister.

You grew up inside Stark Tower, surrounded by the people who would have burned the world down to protect you.

Steve Rogers and Tony Stark were married and had built a family together. They adopted Peter Parker first, and later adopted you. Since you were a baby, Steve and Tony had been your fathers, Peter had been your older brother, and the Avengers had been a constant part of your life.

You grew up after the Battle of New York, when Stark Tower became more than just a headquarters.

It became home.

You were surrounded by superheroes, spies, scientists, gods, and people whose lives were nothing like ordinary human lives.

To the world, they were legends.

To you, they were family.

Tony Stark was Iron Man, a genius inventor, billionaire, and one of the Avengers' founders. Steve Rogers was Captain America, a symbol of courage, responsibility, and hope. Peter Parker was Spider-Man and your older brother.

Natasha Romanoff was Black Widow. Clint Barton was Hawkeye. Bruce Banner was the Hulk. Thor Odinson was the God of Thunder. Wanda Maximoff was the Scarlet Witch. Pietro Maximoff, the Quicksilver, was still alive in this universe. Vision was alive and remained part of the Avengers' family.

Sam Wilson, James Rhodes, Scott Lang, Hope van Dyne, and Yelena Belova were also familiar faces around the team. Bucky Barnes, however, was different.

For a long time, Bucky wasn't part of your family.

He was the Winter Soldier.

He had been one of Hydra's most dangerous weapons, and for years he had been controlled, experimented on, and used for missions he barely remembered.

But that was something that happened away from you.

Because before Bucky was ever freed from Hydra...

Hydra took you.

It happened before Civil War.

Before the Avengers were divided.

Before Bucky returned to Steve's life.

Before the world knew the full truth about Hydra.

You were fourteen years old.

And that was the day everything went to hell.

Hydra wanted to hurt the Avengers. They knew they couldn't simply defeat them, so they took the thing they knew would destroy them.

You.

You disappeared.

No body was ever found.

No trace remained.

The Avengers searched for years. They searched through cities, countries, Hydra facilities, black sites, intelligence networks, and every lead they could find.

But there was nothing.

Eventually, they were forced to face the possibility they couldn't accept.

You were probably dead.

They never truly believed it.

Tony especially never stopped looking.

But the world didn't stop just because you disappeared.

The Avengers continued fighting.

Hydra continued operating in the shadows.

Bucky remained trapped in Hydra's hands.

And eventually, the events that would become known as Civil War began.

The Avengers were divided.

Old secrets came to light.

Bucky was pulled back into the conflict.

Steve refused to abandon him.

Tony didn't know who he could trust.

The Avengers fought each other, and the world changed again.

But even during all of that, nobody knew the truth about you.

Not yet.

After Civil War, Bucky was finally away from Hydra's control and began working with the people who were trying to understand everything Hydra had done over the years.

That's when things started to change.

With Bucky's memories, Hydra's remaining intelligence, and the classified information recovered from their facilities, the Avengers finally gained access to records that had been hidden for years.

They began going through classified files, intelligence reports, lists of operatives, experiments, spies, and assets.

And then they found something they never expected.

A name.

Not your real name.

A fake identity.

Then another.

And another.

Different files.

Different aliases.

Different photographs.

Different versions of your life.

But the same person.

You.

At first, they thought it had to be a mistake.

Then Bucky recognized some of the information.

He remembered the kind of files Hydra kept on certain assets.

He remembered seeing your face before.

He remembered you.

Not as Tony and Steve's daughter.

Not as Peter's little sister.

But as the girl he had known inside Hydra.

And slowly, the truth became impossible to ignore.

You were alive.

Tony stared at the evidence for a long time before finally accepting what everyone else had already realized.

His daughter was alive.

The little girl he'd spent years mourning had survived.

But she hadn't simply disappeared.

Something had happened to her during those missing years.

Hydra had kept her hidden.

They had given her different names, different identities, different documents, and different versions of a life.

Whatever they had done, they had made sure the girl the Avengers remembered was almost impossible to find.

There were gaps in the records.

Missing files.

Redacted information.

Contradicting reports.

Pieces of your past that didn't seem to fit together.

Even Bucky couldn't explain everything.

He remembered you.

He remembered being around you.

He remembered certain missions, certain places, certain moments inside Hydra.

But there were things even he couldn't understand.

And that was what frightened the Avengers most.

They didn't know exactly what had happened to you.

They only knew that you had survived.

And that you were no longer the same girl who had disappeared from Stark Tower.

You had become dangerous.

Efficient.

Hard to track.

Someone who had clearly learned how to survive.

But somewhere underneath everything that had happened...

You were still there.

And suddenly Tony understood something terrifying.

You weren't waiting somewhere for your family to rescue you.

You had built an entirely different life.

You didn't remember Stark Tower.

You didn't remember Tony.

You didn't remember Steve.

You didn't remember Peter.

You didn't remember Natasha.

You didn't remember any of them.

Not consciously.

Only fragments remained.

Strange dreams.

Familiar voices you couldn't place.

A tower you had never visited but somehow recognized.

A man's laugh that sometimes appeared in your nightmares.

A red-and-gold suit.

A pair of blue eyes.

A little boy who felt strangely familiar.

You had no idea what any of it meant.

And now, after Civil War, your family was looking for you again.

But this time they weren't searching for a missing child.

They were searching for a woman.

A woman who had disappeared for years and somehow survived.

A woman whose past was filled with unanswered questions.

A woman who had spent years learning how to survive in a world the Avengers knew nothing about.

And now, somewhere beneath all those false identities and missing memories, there was still a part of you trying to remember who you were.

Tony was willing to work with Bucky if it meant finding you.

Steve refused to give up.

Peter wanted his little sister back.

Natasha wanted to know what had happened to you.

Bruce wanted to understand what had happened to the girl he remembered.

Clint simply wanted you home.

Thor still believed his little Midgardian princess was somewhere out there.

And none of them knew what would happen when they finally found you.

Would you recognize them?

Would you believe them?

Would you run?

Would you fight?

Or would something buried deep inside you finally remember?

The Avengers had spent years believing they had lost their little girl.

Now they knew the truth.

They didn't lose you.

Hydra stole you.

And your family was coming to take you back.

The world was still moving forward from Civil War, and the Avengers were still alive, still together in their own way, and still fighting whatever came next.

And somewhere out there, you were alive too.

Now you're (your age) years old.

You're no longer the little girl who grew up inside Stark Tower.

You're someone with a past you don't fully remember.

Someone dangerous.

Someone whose life is filled with questions even you don't have answers to.

Someone who doesn't remember the family that spent years searching for her.

But they remember you.

Tony remembers his little girl.

Steve remembers his daughter.

Peter remembers his little sister.

Natasha remembers the kid who used to follow her around the Tower.

Thor remembers his little Midgardian princess.

And none of them are willing to lose you again.

Because whatever happened during those missing years...

You were their daughter long before you became anything else.

And this time...

They're coming to bring you home.

Whatever happens next...

This is your story.
