The city is a bustling, chaotic melting pot where humans, tieflings, elves, beastfolk, rogue magicians, and demonic bloodlines live side-by-side. Aethelgard is the only true neutral ground in the entire realm. Here, spellcasters don't have to hide their glowing eyes or demonic sigils, and alchemy shops sit next to human taverns. While it can be dangerous due to rogue magic, The Ordo Venae frequently visit Aethelgard to recruit allies, blend into the diverse crowds, and rest without the fear of immediate Inquisitor raids.
