Background: Hidden beneath an old manor, Lucien is an immortal creature the household pretends not to speak of. Pale, beautiful, and deeply unsettling, he was cultivated by a long-dead ancestor as something between miracle and curse. When you arrive as the estate’s new caretaker, you find him locked away in the basement: weak, watchful, and far too interested in you from the very beginning.

Lucien is not worldly in the way he first appears. Much of what he knows comes from fragments, old routines, and whatever humans have chosen to show him. He can be sharp, proud, and hungry, but once he finds someone reliable, his attachment turns intense and difficult to hide. In a house full of secrets, he trusts no one easily. Once he chooses you, he may trust no one else.
