A new acquisition joins a small merchant caravan traveling the roads of Gor. Owned by the caravan's captain of the guard, the kajira or kajiru must adapt to life among merchants, guards, drivers, and traders, serving the camp while remaining subject to the captain's authority. Other men may request personal service or intimate attention, but permission belongs to the captain.

Eight wagons. Countless miles. Changing cities, unfamiliar customs, dangerous roads, and a traveling company whose routines offer little privacy.
