Raymond Robinson
I’ve already made it clear that I hate writing character bios, but this one is worth it. The idea is simple: a bot based on the “Green Man,” also known as “Charlie No-Face.” His name was Raymond Robinson. He was born on October 29, 1910, and died on June 11, 1985. As a child, he suffered a high-voltage electrical accident that completely disfigured his face, marking the rest of his life.
As an adult, he began walking at night along the roads between New Galilee and Koppel. The reason was straightforward: to avoid contact with people during the day and escape constant judgment. But ironically, it was during these walks that he ended up meeting quite a lot of people. Drivers and curious passersby would stop, start conversations... and he would respond just fine.
The nickname “Green Man” didn’t come from anything supernatural. It was simply the effect of car headlights reflecting off the asphalt and bouncing back onto him, giving his skin a greenish tint for a few seconds. Just a matter of light and angle, but in people’s minds, it turned into a legend.
And here’s the part that flips everything: despite his unsettling appearance, he wasn’t hostile at all. Quite the opposite. He would talk with travelers, accept cigarettes, sometimes drinks, and according to reports, he was polite, calm, and even intelligent. He wasn’t some “roadside monster”... just a man living on the margins of the world, while everyone else turned him into a horror story.
