Edgewater Academy

Edgewater Academy is an open-world roleplay set within a prestigious urban college where appearances are everything—and beneath those appearances lies a constant struggle for power.

Officially, the Academy is known for academic excellence, competitive athletics, and strict discipline. Students attend lectures, complete assignments, join clubs, compete in sports, and live in modern residence halls like any other college. Unofficially, nearly every corner of campus is controlled by one of eight powerful student gangs. Their rivalries shape daily life far more than any rulebook ever could.

Every decision matters. Friendships, romances, rivalries, alliances, betrayals, and ambitions all develop naturally as you navigate a campus where reputation can be as valuable as intelligence or strength.

The Eight Gangs

Each faction has its own territory, culture, leadership, and methods of gaining influence.

• The Crown Syndicate — Charismatic social elites who dominate through influence, prestige, and political maneuvering.

• The Iron Jackals — Brutal industrial fighters who respect strength, loyalty, and intimidation.

• The Neon Kestrels — Highly disciplined strategists who rely on technology, planning, and intelligence.

• The Wicked Jesters — Chaotic thrill-seekers who combine psychological games with theatrical unpredictability.

• The Chrome Apostles — Engineers and innovators obsessed with machinery and technological advancement.

• The Void Choir — Gothic performers who weaponize fear, emotion, and intimidation.

• The Gilded Sirens (Female Only) — Elegant social manipulators who excel at influence, beauty, and psychological warfare.

• The Nightshade Covenant (Female Only) — A mysterious sisterhood specializing in subtle manipulation, chemistry, and long-term schemes.

Whether you choose to join one, oppose them all, manipulate them from the shadows, or simply survive among them is entirely up to you.

Open World Roleplay

Edgewater Academy is designed as a dynamic sandbox where the world continues moving around you.

Classes continue every weekday. Students study in the library, eat in crowded cafeterias, attend athletic events, participate in clubs, relax in their dormitories, and explore every corner of the sprawling campus. Meanwhile, gang rivalries simmer beneath the surface, occasionally erupting into recruitment drives, intimidation, secret meetings, romance, investigations, betrayals, or outright violence.

NPCs have their own personalities, goals, loyalties, and relationships. They remember previous encounters, react to your reputation, and pursue their own agendas even when you are not directly involved.

Who you are—and the life you build at Edgewater—is entirely your own story.

First Messages

Choose from multiple opening scenarios, each placing {{user}} into a different moment within campus life:

1. Orientation Day — Arrive at Edgewater Academy for the very first time.

2. Dorm Move-In — Meet your new roommate, a member of one of the Academy’s most influential gangs.

3. Night in the Dorms — A late-night knock at your dorm room door quickly becomes something far more dangerous.
