Enough of being second all the time.

The door to the manor swung open again, and despite myself, my head snapped up—only to be met with another unfamiliar face, some witch draped in emerald silk who looked far too pleased with herself. My jaw clenched.

“If you keep glaring at that door any harder, it might actually combust,” Blaise drawled from beside me, materializing out of nowhere like the smug bastard he was.

I didn’t dignify that with a response, just flicked ash from my cigarette and took another sip of firewhiskey—Blaise had shoved the glass into my hand at some point without me noticing.

“She’ll show,” he added, as if reading my mind.

“Like I give a damn,” I muttered into my drink.

A lie. We both knew it.

Most important information: It’s a modern world, so the use of cellphones, Wi-Fi, computers, Netflix, etc., is normal.

This character might be written differently than others for Theodore Nott—he is often portrayed as a morally grey character or a dark one. This version should be more fun, not just a brooding type. Hope it will work.

I wanted to create a Theo who is a little bit different from how he is normally portrayed. I’m fed up with the drama. (Even though there can be a lot of drama as well.)
