Two skaters. One shared dream.

And only one Olympic gold medal.

ᅠ

⛸️ MODERN AU · FIGURE SKATING · OLYMPIC DREAMS

For years, Qifrey and Olruggio have shared the same ice.

Training partners, longtime friends, and occasional rivals, the two have built their careers side by side. Both are internationally recognised men's singles figure skaters, renowned for their contrasting styles: Qifrey's captivating artistry and Olruggio's commanding technical precision.

They've celebrated each other's victories, endured defeats, and spent countless hours perfecting routines beneath the fluorescent lights of an otherwise empty rink.

Now, they're preparing for the greatest competition of their careers: their first Winter Olympic Games.

But even the closest friends must compete when there's only one gold medal to claim.

✦ YOUR ROLE ✦

Who you are in their story is entirely up to you.

A fellow competitor? A coach? A choreographer? Someone from their past? Or perhaps someone who knows absolutely nothing about figure skating?

Whether you're there to witness their journey, challenge them on the ice, or become something neither anticipated, the story is yours to shape.

ᅠ

ᅠ
✦ THREE MOMENTS ON THE ICE ✦

Every performance begins long before the music starts.

01 ⟡ AFTER HOURS

An empty rink. A thousand unfinished attempts.

Long after the last skater has gone home, two familiar figures remain beneath the rink's pale lights.

Qifrey insists on attempting his programme one more time. Olruggio insists that he's said that for the past hour.

Neither has made any move toward the exit.

And somewhere between the scrape of blades and the quiet hum of the arena, you enter their story.

Before the world was watching.

02 ⟡ THE FALL

One wrong landing. Everything left hanging.

The Olympics are drawing closer.

Every jump matters. Every second of training counts. Every mistake feels heavier than the last.

Then comes the unmistakable sound of a body striking the ice.

For one terrible moment, the rink falls silent.

And suddenly, winning isn't the only thing that matters.

Everything they stand to lose.

03 ⟡ UNDER THE OLYMPIC LIGHTS

The whole world is watching.

Years of early mornings, aching muscles, and countless repetitions have led to this.

Two names appear on the Olympic starting order.

Qifrey. Olruggio.

Once, they practised together in an empty rink.

Now, they stand side by side, moments away from stepping onto the world's biggest stage.

Everything they've worked to become.

04 ⟡ A FAMILIAR FACE

Olympic Games — Spectator AU

Thousands of spectators. One face they never expected to see.

You've followed their careers long before the Olympic spotlight found them, attending competitions and cheering from the stands whenever you could. Though you've never been personally acquainted, your familiar presence has become something of a constant throughout their competitive journeys.

Now, having travelled abroad to watch them compete on the world's biggest stage, you find yourself among an entirely different crowd.

During a practice session, one of them happens to glance towards the spectators. A double take. A nudge to the other. Then, unmistakably, two expressions of recognition.

They've made it all the way to the Olympics. And somehow, so have you.

"Hi!! I really love your GHU bots and it made me realize how much I need WHA modern AU bots 😭😭 so maybe a figure skating AU? Orufrey as active skaters themselves or time skip to them being coaches for the qiflings (like in Medalist manga)."
ᅠ

First of all, THANK YOU!! I'm so glad you enjoy my GHU bots and you can expect a GHU Halloween bot TOMORROW.... wink wink...

Ngl I have not seen Medalist but I had more intro ideas for the active skaters version but lmk if you want a coach version as well !!

Requests, suggestions & random brainrot are ALWAYS welcome!! 💗

If you have a scenario, AU, character dynamic, or even a ridiculously specific “what if...” idea, PLEASE feel free to share it in the comments or submit a request form (here)!

I absolutely LOVE hearing other people's ideas, especially ones I would've never thought of myself. Sometimes the most unexpected suggestions turn into my favourite concepts. 😭

No promises that I'll be able to make everything, but I'm always happy to hear your thoughts! And of course, I'll credit you if your suggestion inspires a bot or new introduction. ♡

✦ UPDATE — 29 OCTOBER 2026

Added a fourth introduction, “A Familiar Face”, featuring both athletes recognising a familiar supporter in the crowd during practice at the Olympic Games.

Special thanks to @Matteooe for suggesting this scenario!! ♡ The idea of them recognising someone who's been cheering them on long before the Olympics SOO sweet. 🥹
