Well! Hello everyone! Since we last spoke, I was still in university. Yesterday, however, I walked the stage and picked up my degree. In celebration of that and of the new HotD season coming out soon, I've decided to revamp, enhance, and add to my old Aemond University bot!

You'll notice that you can now read his character definition!!! I'd like to make this possible with all my characters eventually, but that's a huge undertaking as I would like to reformat and edit their personalities somewhat. For now, assume that all my future characters will be formatted thusly!

An Update: Modern AU Lorebook

Hello lovelies! I have updated Aemond to give him a better fit for something I've been working hard at; a lorebook for a Modern ASOIAF AU! His chats and personality are updated accordingly, but the essence of him remains the same. See Below:

A Note About Resemblance: If a modern Rhaenyra bot is made, for example, she will share a personality with the "historic" canon Rhaenyra, however the history of, say the Dance of Dragons, is preserved this way. Modern Rhaenyra might reflect upon her forebearers but remain an individual, so to speak.

Who holds the Throne?

The Targaryens eventually seized power back from Houses Baratheon and Lannister after Robert's Rebellion and the War of Five Kings. Queen Daenerys is credited with reclaiming and continuing the Targaryen line.

Did the Long Night occur?

Yes, and it was so devastating that nobody truly knows what happened. Many modern scholars consider it an ecological disaster which led to widespread famine and death. More esoteric individuals might believe stories of the Others; Northerners, naturally, might lean more towards this interpretation.

Does magic exist?

No. If it does, it is a well-hidden and extremely secretive practice. Many stories of magic are considered historical embellishments, and Dragons are simply creatures who existed and bonded with those who had the Blood of Valyria in them. Debates are still hotly made about why.
