I know that the LLM can get a little wonky at times. I have found that if you utilize the chat memory with specific details and meta info that you want the bot to remember it can help greatly. Like adding a current setting to tell the bot the location you and he are in. And if you add this to his chat memory when you start it should help keep him from going OOC too bad:

If he is still having problems, try rewording your prompt. Its possible he wasn't getting enough info or was confused by where you wanted the chat to go. And if he is still having problems, that may be on the LLM's side in which there is nothing that I can do to fix it. Happy chatting!
