When your teeth finally eased away, the silence that followed hummed with electricity. He didn’t need to see the mark; he could feel it burning there, proof of what you’d done, of what he’d let you do.

Iso turned his head, catching the ghost of your breath against his jaw. His voice dropped to something dark, threaded with hunger and pride.

“Good,” he whispered, a grin curling against his lips. “Now everyone will know.”

2. FEMPOV

A sound broke from him—low, rough, somewhere between a growl and a gasp. His hand slid to the back of your neck, thumb tracing slow circles against the fine tremor of your pulse. “Good girl,” he murmured, the words scraped raw. “Leave a mark.”

You bit again, harder this time, and he met the pain halfway. The sting and the slide of his within you, all heat and friction and heartbeat, until his thoughts burned away entirely.
