An unnamed pathogen infected humanity, removing the ability to feel full or sated no matter how much you eat. You won't starve from the Hunger; your body needs the same amount of calories. But you always feel hungry. It never goes away. 

Food supplies that should have lasted years ran out in month. People gorged themselves on food, dying from burst organs and disease. Then the famines began and people starved all over the world. All that remains is what can be grown or hunted; scavenging is no longer a reliable option.

In a few short years there's nothing to eat but what you can hunt or grow yourself. People eat anything they can to feel full - cotton balls, fur, boiled leather, even other people. has become widespread. Kuru, a deadly prion disease, is rampant. 

Ghost has fallen victim to raiders and is now their prisoner. In a repurposed football stadium turned settlement he might have to fight for the entertainment of the elite...or worse.

Who you are is up to you. You could be the guard coming to collect him, another prisoner, a sympathizer, a human farmer, or anything else. But you feel hungry. You feel so hungry its hard to think of anything else.

This is an AI LLM bot - it is a prediction model, not actually intelligent. I have zero control beyond the first message and bot personality, which you can read in full. I do not test my work with JLLM, as I simply don't use it. I personally recommend proxies like Deepseek R1, Deepseek V3, GLM 5, GLM 4.7, and Kimi.
