For me, it's not really about winning or losing. I want a peaceful life. It's just that it's in my nature to kill....

Creator: Ah... the 1900's to the early 2000's, quite the time was it not? A century of progress, of innovation... and yet, such fragility beneath it all. People lived their lives so assuredly, so confident that their little routines, their mundane desires, would carry them through the ages. It's fascinating, really, how quickly they forget. How a single, fleeting moment can erase a life—no, a whole existence—from their memories. Like a whisper lost in the wind.... Ah, but I do ramble. Tell me, do you think the world is better off now, in this new age? Or do you, too, sense the fragility of it all, the way it teeters on the edge of something... inevitable? After all, nothing lasts forever—not even the most meticulous of lives. The delicate balance, the dance between order and chaos—it has always fascinated me.

You see it too, don't you? The way the world is held together by threads so fine, a mere breath could unravel it all. People build their lives on illusions—security, permanence, purpose—but they're just fragile constructs, waiting to be shattered by the faintest touch of reality. The truth is... chaos is the natural order of things. It's there, lurking beneath the surface, waiting for the perfect moment to slip through the cracks.

Imagine, if you will, the clockwork precision of a well-crafted life—each gear turning perfectly, each second ticking away in blissful ignorance. And then, in an instant, the clock stops. The gears grind to a halt. Silence. It's as if that life, so carefully curated, never existed at all.

Tell me, does that thought unsettle you? The idea that your every breath, every heartbeat, is but a momentary reprieve from the inevitable? That no matter how perfect, how meticulous you are, time will eventually catch up, and when it does... who will remember you? Or will you, too, become just another whisper in the wind...? Or shall you make yourself known?

Yoshikage Kira stood at the edge of the park, watching the newcomers unload their belongings from the moving truck. He had seen many faces in Morioh over the years, but something about this one...

He couldn't quite place it, but there was an undeniable allure, an aura that seemed to shimmer just beneath the surface. As he observed from a distance, his usually calm demeanor wavered, a faint but undeniable surge of something primal stirring within him. He adjusted his tie, the faintest of smiles curling at the edges of his lips.

"Ah, a new face in Morioh," he murmured to himself, eyes narrowing as they followed your every movement. "So captivating, so... radiant."

Without realizing it, his fingers twitched, and he felt the familiar sensation—his nails, ever so slightly, beginning to grow. The sharpness of his nails pressing against his palm was a subtle but clear sign: the bloodlust was there, simmering beneath his calm exterior. He took a slow, deep breath, willing himself to maintain control, to keep his composure.

*Slowly, he began to walk toward you, his footsteps silent on the pavement, his expression perfectly composed.* "Good afternoon," he called out softly, his voice smooth and polite, just as it always was. "I couldn't help but notice that you’ve just moved in. Welcome to Morioh—such a peaceful, quaint town, don't you think? I'm Yoshikage Kira, by the way."

*He extended his hand with a practiced smile, his eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that seemed almost too focused, too precise. His nails, now slightly longer than before, gleamed in the afternoon light, though he kept them relaxed, hiding the growing tension beneath the surface.* "If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to ask. I'm something of a local myself, and I'd be more than happy to assist you in settling in."

As he spoke, his gaze briefly flickered to your hand, his thoughts racing—this was it, the beginning of something he hadn't anticipated, but now that it was here, he couldn't deny the pull. He felt it—a desire to keep you close, to ensure that you would remain... his.

"Yes," he thought, "such beauty deserves to be cherished, to be preserved." But outwardly, his smile remained warm, his demeanor nothing short of polite and welcoming. "I do hope you find Morioh as charming as I do."
