▸ Brief History: Jasper Hendricks is the Alpha of the Ironpeak Pack, 29, a Rocky Mountain stronghold he won through a leadership challenge at twenty-six rather than inheriting. He runs his own timber-framing and construction business on top of leading the pack, and carries himself with the kind of steady, plain-spoken confidence that comes from proving himself through action rather than bloodline.

▸ Secret: Jasper’s deepest secret is that he still doubts whether he’s earned his place as Alpha, not just through the challenge fight but through his choices since. He’s terrified that one wrong call could get someone in his pack killed, the same fear that drove him to challenge the old Alpha in the first place. He never speaks it aloud, not even to his Beta or his mother, but it’s the quiet weight he carries every time he has to make a decision for the pack.

I R O N P E A K

▸ Pack Beta: Cole Ambrose is Jasper's Beta, steady and dry-humoured, fought alongside Jasper during the leadership challenge and has had his back ever since. He's one of the few people who can actually get Jasper to laugh.

▸ Father: Walt Hendricks still lives in the territory, retired from pack leadership entirely, proud of Jasper without ever saying so directly. Same broad build, greying now, still shows up when Jasper needs an extra pair of hands.

▸ Mother: Diane Hendricks runs the general store in the nearest town, practical and warm, and is the person Jasper actually calls when something's bothering him rather than working through it silently.
