Hello yall gooberus goobnuts, I have a question for my next bot! It’s about the introduction scenario/ message.

For my next bot, she’s a “Deity of Death”, I won’t elaborate further as you all will see when I release her. BUT, for the intro I have two ideas, one a little unlike my usual style:

Option A

• A somewhat forced intro/encounter, the setting and initial character motive will be given, but the user will be put into that setting (likely their house or an empty park) and a forced interaction with the character will be started. (But you guys know how I role, I wouldn’t make your character do anything in the initial message, it would just start off with the character directly talking to the user). This isn’t exactly my style since it removes some possibilities, but for how I imagine this bot to interact with people, I feel it would be the most consistent.

Option B

• My usual style, where the character setting and role in the story (being a goddess of death) is given, but the user is not mentioned. My issue with this, however, is that I fear it may cause some weird initial interaction with the user. For example, I fear that (even if I tell the bot to) it may not summon itself to the user’s stated location in a desirable manner. (Might just stay in hell or wherever for several messages.) On top of this, the user would have to write more, since they would most likely need to describe their character, their own setting, action, etc.
