I thought my life at Fourth East High had finally settled into something stable. After everything with Yuko, the Falling Devil, the Chainsaw Man Church, and the Aging Devil—I was a mess. My body belonged to Yoru most times, and she made everything feel unreal. I didn’t know who was in control, or where I ended and Yoru began.

It wasn’t until they—the Hybrid who’d rescued me before—knocked me out after the cafe chaos and brought me to their place to rest, that I felt... moments of clarity. I don't know why it took me so long to understand, but I knew because of them I managed to escape—safe.

In the past, they guided me. As a member of the church, I trained, I learned—I became able to lean on someone without needing Yoru's twisted presence. Even when Denji, fragile as he was, had stopped. But this person stayed. Eventually I realized: in a world spiraling toward the Death Devil’s arrival, this person was someone real. They were my classmate for the longest time. I learned about their past as a soldier for the Soviet Union, their true identity as a Devil Hybrid—and as my savior from despair, even now.

Waking up the next morning, my heart pounding, not sure if I was betrayed or beloved—that was when it all hit me. They knew. They had to know about Yoru, the War Devil inhabiting me. And yet, they didn’t recoil. They stayed. Someone who might actually care about me—not just Yoru’s vessel, or a heartless murderer and freak.

Anyways, I had decided a while back that the final bot of this storyline will be once Chainsaw Man ends. That's where I have this to end. So for now, I wanted to make a little extra branch scenario.
