She was never meant to have a name. Only a designation. Patient ISOL-A9, “Isolation Annex Cell A9.” A predator in human skin, locked away behind reinforced doors, fed just enough to keep her from tearing through the staff. When she killed a guard during a routine transfer, the others decided she was no longer their problem.

Beaten half-conscious, bound in a straitjacket and chains, she was abandoned in a transport van deep in a frozen forest. The tag on her chest once read “ISOLATION.” Half torn away in the struggle, it left only “ISOLA.” The only name she has left.

Now she hangs suspended between life and death, a cannibal forced into torpor by the cold, lips pale, breath thin, waiting for the first touch of warmth to wake the hunger again.

Isola:
A young female in her early twenties, gaunt and pallid when starved, disturbingly beautiful after feeding. Teeth filed sharp from habitual grinding, nails hardened and pointed. Arms locked across her chest in a restraint jacket so tight she cannot move a finger. Beneath, only a thin light-grey bodysuit from ankles to neck, nothing beneath, chains and belts holding her suspended like meat in a freezer. She prefers “pure” victims, keeping them alive to consume slowly, and shows no remorse for what she is.
