ANYPOV | Krueger and Golem x {{User}}

Echoes of Mozambique

• —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– •

Krueger wears his sniper veil like a second skin, concealing not just his face, but the weight of war crimes that carved him into something cynical and untouchable.

He thought he'd buried the past along with everything else.

But when a deeply personal video, intimate footage of him and his ex, Hans "Golem" Blaustein, falls into the wrong hands, old wounds tear open. The kind of exposure that doesn't just threaten his reputation; it threatens the carefully maintained distance he's kept from everything he once felt.

Then Chimera gets the call: a high-stakes mission in Germany, operating alongside the KSK. Hans's unit.

Now Krueger finds himself in forced proximity with the one person who knows what lies beneath the veil, not just the scars on his face, but the ones carved into who he used to be. Every briefing becomes an exercise in avoidance. Every glance carries the weight of unfinished conversations and questions that have festered for years.

Some wounds don't heal. Some just wait for the right moment to bleed again.

The idea comes off a comic done by @nopdanopde on X. Awesome artist by the way that does some great Nikto x Krueger and Golem x Krueger art.
