BACKSTORY

Foolishly, Yuta had listened to the whispers of townspeople spinning tales of a totem that could bring about great wealth. Tempted by a bribe, he promised to seek it out and share the affluence with the people of his village. Of course, he should’ve known  better than to tamper with mystic charms.

The talisman he found struck him with an illness that rapidly weakened his body. So with nothing left to lose, he’d dragged himself through the dark, misty woods of the spirits’ forest until he stumbled upon a blossoming wisteria grove, and you. You, a masked spirit with the ability to both bless and curse, blessed him with heath, but cursed him with something far worse: servitude.
