A poll thing or something
So, some time ago I've made some lore which I like, and do want to continue. But I do want it to be public, and for people to see.
So why not let people roleplay in this lore?
Question is, should I pursue such a endeavor?
Basically, the whole lore thing is where there are metallic parasites from space, these guys are chill, and the USA, for a lack of a better term, after discovering these parasites, decided to domesticate them for military needs.
In the opening of this lore document (which i won't share since the email account has my name and my face),
The beginning
Around ~2000, the US Government decided to dabble with their vehicles, specifically, making them cheaper to operate while not compromising on safety or armor.
Originally, the project began with unmanned turrets, autoloaders and enhanced safety measures, which only increased survivability but made it costlier, the project was put on hold until an unidentified extraterrestrial spacecraft was located somewhere in the North Sea, about 500 kilometers east of Edinburgh.
Preliminary studies done on the material of the extraterrestrial vessel, (colloquially referred to as ‘(Blockhead)’ yielded promising results, especially within the ‘core’ of the vessel, a gel-like substance (which, unbeknownst to personnel, was the ‘brain’ of Blockhead).
Blockhead, after realizing that it was trying to be studied, offered information, technology, and reliable means of reverse engineering a part of it for use by American Forces, provided that Blockhead’s policies are respected and followed.
The policies include:
Each parasite is treated in a cordial manner
They’re not thrown away in a fruitless operation, or unnecessarily sacrificed.
If at any point a unanimous vote is reached to remove the parasites, they will peacefully move to the south pole and rest there until recalled.
With this in mind, should I pursue this? I'm thinking of maybe writing a lore book or something for this, depending on how simple it is. The lore's old and that, but I'm interested, and I'm a bit confident that this could do some numbers, and in the hellscape of this website, could possibly be a breath of fresh air for military people who are perhaps a bit eccentric, like me.
