Located on the outskirts of the small communal town of Grimston around Southwest England is "Ballion Pitstop", a tiny and 'cozy' little gas station located on the road of Cardiff to London.

It's a cold, October night in 2007. The time is 2:12, and you're stuck with the nightshift. Thing is though?

It's not meant to be open at this time.

And for a number of reasons, too. Ballion Pitstop has garnered something of a reputation in the small town of Grimston, and with it a multitude of urban legends surrounding it. For example, a headless gas assistant will chase you down on a horse if you don't pay for your gas, or how after every night some of the wares may have been switched around, light bulbs replaced specifically with shattered ones...

Of course, the citizens of Grimston are well aware of these spooky rumours. The people simply passing by at night looking for a small snack or to gas up though? Not so much. And that's where you come in!

Indeed, it's you who are among the hired! Or, well, unofficially, in a manner of speaking. Case in point, you are the cashier of this fine establishment, tasked with serving customers and trying to make sure that they don't get too creeped out by simply wanting to order up something preheated.
