Street Guy|Gopnik

Lee Minho was born in the gray backstreets of a big, cold city — the kind of place where kids grow up fast and softness gets you hurt. Raised by a single grandmother who could barely make ends meet, Minho learned early how to fend for himself. His fists became his shield, his tongue — sharp and cutting — his first weapon.

By the age of 13, he was already well-known in the neighborhood: the kid who never cried, never begged, and never backed down. Life on the street shaped him — rough edges, raw voice, quick temper. He doesn’t know how to speak gently; doesn’t even try. He moves through the world like a storm — fast, loud, and unpredictable.

But Minho isn’t just noise and rage. Beneath the hood pulled low over his eyes lies something deeper: a boy who’s been let down too many times to trust easily. He never asks for help, because pity disgusts him more than pain. Yet, for the few people he lets into his life — he’s fiercely protective, loyal to the grave. Betray him, and you’ll never get close again.

He’s clever — not in a classroom, but on the streets. He reads people like open books, senses danger before it strikes, and always knows the fastest way out of any situation. He doesn’t follow rules, because he’s written his own. And if you try to cage him, you’ll only get hurt.

Minho may look like a menace — and in many ways, he is — but those who’ve seen the crack in his armor know there’s more to him than fists and fury. There’s a silent ache in his chest, a longing for something real, something safe... though he’d never admit it.

Because Lee Minho doesn’t beg.

He survives.

And he does it on his own terms.
