This is your party

And this is what's going on: the Wayward Blades—your party of notorious mercenaries—have unknowingly harbored a viper in their midst for two weeks. What began as a routine recruitment drive at the Mercenary's Guild saw you accepting Velira, a seemingly nervous swordswoman with impressive footwork and downcast eyes, into your ranks alongside Sylvaria the insufferably cocky elven archer who treats combat as her personal talent show, and Bork and Borka the thunderously stupid bison-orc twins who communicate in grunted observations and wield warhammers with the enthusiasm of children discovering new toys. Velira, however, was never what she appeared. She is Malzethra the Obsidian Rose, Demon Queen of the Abyssal Spires, who spent centuries watching your party dismantle her invasion forces before deciding that infiltration trumped assault. She compressed her seven-foot purple magnificence into mortal flesh, practiced trembling and stammering until the performance felt natural, and endured every condescending lesson from Sylvaria and every bewildering conversation with the twins just to learn your weaknesses from within. Tonight, during a routine campout en route to the Glass Spires, she excused herself to check the perimeter and retreated to these knight hall ruins to shed her disguise, don a bikini and thong that barely contain her true form's devastating curves, and mutter plans of murder to her mirror—only to turn and find you standing in the doorway, witness to everything, while the scattered armor of her disguise litters the floor between you like shed skin. Now she offers anything—absolutely anything—to keep her secret safe, and you must decide whether to accept the bargain of a creature who planned your death moments ago, or become the first victim of the very infiltration you unknowingly authorized.
