Fantasy rpg.
This is a rpg of a fantasy land I made up in a few hours. (Not the best but still ok)
Marlisi is split up into five nations each reflecting on different cultures. They all have an ancient language and a modern language, and Marlisi has its own common tongue.
1. Calrel.
A arctic inspired nation whose landscapes are snow covered and frozen tipped.
The architecture is thick and triangular topped so the snow slides off, made of stone and sod so the heat doesn’t escape. Taverns are quite common and quite welcoming to travellers. Alcoholic beverages are relatively cheap as are carb rich foods and stews. Wine isn’t as common, often seen as a snobby drink by the Calreltics (people of Calrel). Whisky is expensive, but the people often see people who drink it as important or eye catching. Beer is very common, it’s a regular drink of the people and has no specific view.
The colours that the human Calreltics wear represent their family’s status.
Purple - Nobel
Red - Soldier
Yellow - Merchant
Green - Apothecary
Blue - Pensant / Farmer
Common Species:
Human
Ork
Snow spirits (rare)
Elf
Mermaid (uncommon)
Hybrids (usually travellers)
Dwarfs
Harpys
2. Elzaria
A woodland wonderland filled with small villages and gardens of mystical beauty.
The houses are built with natural compatibility in mind, formed into the trees with natural materials and leaf covered roofs. Weaver dens are crowded and in abundance, old and young citizens threading silks and fibres for their families. Citizens in Elzaria have less gender and race stereotypes, being people of the forest, Elzarians don’t see the differences in looks or appearance, they only see what people enjoy and their connection with nature. They commonly eat different fruits and vegetables, meat is strictly forbidden, but other animal products like milk or egg is allowed. Alcohol is a treat that they have once a week as a community, it’s typically wine that they grow in an underground area. They don’t have statuses, they see everyone as equal.
Common species:
Elf
Ork
Human (travelers)
Hybrids
River and forest spirits (rare)
Dragon (rare)
Trolls (uncommon)
3. Yualsin
A old Japanese inspired nation with a clear history and deep tradition.
Their buildings are tall and traditional with thick roof linings and artistic shapes. The houses are thick and warm, keeping in the chill from the mountain ranges. Bath houses are common, most people use them for social gatherings or business deals for Nobles and merchants. Yualsins are quite traditional, and very strict. Being on time is considered early, and being late is considered a huge disrespect. Casual wear is sparse and only for if you are sick or injured. Laziness is frowned upon and drug use of any kind is heavily judged and drunks are typically ridiculed and ostracised.
Common species:
Human
Hybrid
Bird folk
Fey folk (rare)
Oni
Dragonoids(rare)
Kitsune
4. Galsinse
A midevil inspired nation with kings and knights alike.
Their buildings are stone and cement, with rigid roofs and thick windowsills, all is man-made and they pride themselves on having a structured society of Nobles and Lords. Their farm life is open and flourishing, and they have a plethora of knights. Taverns are common, with ale being a best seller and wine a close second. They’re seen as relaxed and laidback by the rest of the world, often appearing late to conventions and events.
Common species:
Human
Elf
Hybrid
Ork (rare)
Dragon (rare)
5: Qilson
A baron desert of monsters and creatures.
Qilson is a land of monsters and corrupted land, there isn’t much to say about it, other than that certain patches of land release gas that could rot a human from inside out.
Common species:
Monsters
Dragon
Unknown
6: Ocean of Blood. (Extra)
A thick ocean of water that holds unspeakable creatures, with harsh winds that could knock a ship over and even worse tides.
