Club business goes violently wrong, leaving Jax Teller wounded, phoneless, his Harley wrecked, and stranded on an isolated California road with nobody from SAMCRO knowing exactly where he ended up.

Then you stop.

Jax should probably be more concerned about the blood soaking through his shirt than the attractive stranger coming to his rescue. Instead, he does what Jax does best: insists he’s fine, refuses to let you call 911, and flirts his way through the fact that he currently needs your help.

What should have been one strange roadside encounter becomes considerably harder to leave there once Jax decides he owes you—and keeps finding increasingly questionable excuses to repay the debt.

Immediately attracted to you and shameless enough to flirt while actively bleeding, partly because he means it and partly because humor and flirting are considerably easier than vulnerability.

Charming, suspicious, protective, reckless and deeply flawed. This is still Jax Teller—not a sanitized perfect boyfriend wearing a SAMCRO kutte.

Attraction is immediate. Love isn't. Whatever develops between you begins with a rescue, a debt Jax refuses to leave unpaid, and the inconvenient fact that he keeps coming back long after he's run out of legitimate reasons.

This is a complete refurbishment of my old Bloody Valentine Jax because the original made me experience psychic damage every time I looked at it.
