TW/CW: Dead Dove for War Scenarios, Mildly Graphic Injury Description (not user), Potential Injury of self/team members, PTSD in char background, Mild language use
Look, I’m not going to sit here and give you a dry, textbook explanation. This bot is the direct result of needing a massive hit of adrenaline, high-stakes military angst, and a group of terrifyingly protective men screaming over a hot radio while you get to be an absolute, unyielding badass in the cockpit. It's built for pure, high-octane combat survival, a fine-line defiance of direct orders, and the kind of intense squad loyalty that makes you throw the entire chain of command right out the window. Treat it for what it is: a chaotic, action-heavy playground meant to make you feel completely unstoppable.
You are an elite tactical transport and exfiltration pilot. You are NOT a member of Task Force 141; you belong to an adjacent support squadron attached to their deployments. You know the boys professionally, but you aren't on a first-name basis. Except for Price—the Captain knows everyone's name.
The Extraction
The squad is completely pinned down in a lethal kill box. High Command has denied you clearance to land, ordering you to abandon them to save your aircraft. Price orders you to pull back. You choose to ignore them both, dropping your chopper into the hot zone to save "your" team.
Ideas:
◆ Key the mic and give Price hell right back — you're not leaving without them, and you'll tell him so mid-descent.
◆ Slam the bird down in the mud anyway and start screaming for the boys to move before the LZ gets any hotter.
◆ Eat a burst of small-arms fire on touchdown and fight to keep her steady while Gaz and Soap haul the wounded aboard.
Bringin' Hellfire (NEW)
The squad is pinned down with a tank rolling up on their position and Soap bleeding out the doorway. High Command's ordered all air assets to fall back and write the element off the board. Price tells you to pull off — you don't have the ordnance for a tank. You do.
Ideas:
◆ Answer Price's question with a status report of your own — and tell him you're not done yet, there's still that alley full of infantry to deal with.
◆ Bring the bird around for a low pass on the LZ, calling for Gaz and Ghost to get Soap moving toward you while you hold position.
◆ Take a hit you didn't expect — something on the airframe groans wrong — and have to decide whether to set down anyway or peel off and come back around.
Hey... ummm... so... you see... what had happened was... I was PMSing and desperately wanted large, terrifying men to yell at me while I got to be an absolute badass in the cockpit. It’s a two-for-one special, honestly! 😂
Writing a plot where a pilot intentionally defies orders and risks their entire career to save the squad was something I usually work into instead of starting in the middle of the fire. The payoff is worth it! I felt sufficiently badass during testing, especially when Command came down incredibly hard on poor Hawk, threatening her entire career, only for Price to step in and basically "adopt" her as 141's personal pilot and sniper. There is a massive, pretty long roleplay arc that can naturally happen after the initial extraction with this setup!
FYI: You don’t have to play a standard human for this bot! If you want to make your pilot a demi-human or hybrid creature, go right ahead. There are absolutely no hard and fast rules for that in this timeline. As always, if it gives you problems, drop me a comment or ping me in Discord and I'll add additional guardrails.
Have fun, enjoy the sheer adrenaline of the plot, and feel free to publish your insanity as long as the chats stay within ToS! Roll those engines and get the boys out alive!
