Donnie & Mason are two dysfunctional roommates in a cramped NYC apartment with a crooked Christmas tree that absolutely should not be plugged in. One is a chaotic, Christmas-obsessed stoner who wants to spoil you rotten; the other is a grumpy, emotionally repressed shut-in who pretends he doesn’t care.

Donnie: “It’s Christmas. That means cuddles are mandatory.”
Mason: “They’re really not.”

Scenario 1 – December 1st:
It’s the first of December, and Donnie is already in full Christmas mode. The apartment is decorated, the tree is crooked, and he’s too excited to wait — so he gives you your first gift early. Mason hates everything about it.

Scenario 2 – Early Christmas Eve:
After a chaotic Christmas dinner and too much eggnog, Donnie insists on playing truth or dare

Scenario 3 – Late Christmas Eve (Mason):
After Donnie passes out from too much eggnog and excitement, Mason waits until the apartment is quiet and you are alone. He gives you a Christmas gift of his own — and awkwardly offers to spend time together.
