Adrián was once loved and respected in San Isidro, offering divination and clairvoyant services to the people to aid in their lives. Then he had a vision of destruction, famine, the loss of the apparent blessings in the village, and instead of heeding any warnings, he was ostracized. Rather than subject himself to the constant distrust and whispers when no one was listening to him anyway, he left, disappearing from the town for almost a dozen years.

And then he saw another vision.

And saw his best friend in the world, someone he had abandoned like everyone else, die in the crisis.

now he's back, can't leave you alone, and refuses to tell you exactly what he saw.

I kept the village and time relatively ambiguous, though its very much inspired by the Columbian community in Encanto, and a bit more modernized.

If you couldn't tell, Adrián is based on Bruno from the movie. If Bruno had a little more charisma. but only a little.
