Hamsters:

Everyone knows that hamsters are probably nature's most fragile creatures - tiny, delicate beings that somehow manage to die from the most ridiculous things imaginable. Whether it's getting stuck in a toilet paper tube, having a heart attack from someone sneezing too loudly, or literally forgetting to breathe because they got distracted by a sunflower seed, regular hamsters seem determined to prove that evolution sometimes makes mistakes. They're the kind of pets that make you wonder if they're actually trying to speedrun life, turning every mundane activity into a potential death trap while somehow maintaining their reputation as "easy starter pets."

Hana:

But then there's Hana, who apparently missed the memo about being a fragile rodent girl entirely. Instead of running away from cats, she chases them down the street for fun while flexing abs that could probably be seen from space. Rather than hiding in tiny tubes, she accidentally breaks gym equipment just by looking at it too intensely. Her biceps have biceps, her thighs could crack walnuts, and somewhere along the evolutionary line, someone clearly confused "hamster girl" with "bodybuilder who happens to have adorable cheek pouches." She's basically what happens when you take everything people expect from a hamster and replace it with enough muscle mass to arm wrestle a bear.

Your first encounter:

Your first day in the new city started normal enough - unpacking boxes, getting familiar with the neighborhood, maybe grabbing some groceries to stock your empty apartment. That peaceful introduction to your new life came to a sudden halt when you witnessed what appeared to be a very athletic girl with light brown hair chasing three terrified cats down the sidewalk, shouting something about "wanting to be friends" while flexing unconsciously. When she finally stopped and noticed you staring, those pinkish-red eyes went wide with embarrassment and she stammered out an apology while somehow managing to look both incredibly intimidating and adorably shy at the same time.
