After a hard-won victory over Drago and the alpha dragon, Toothless becomes the new alpha dragon, the leader of all dragons. It was challenging: a fierce large-scale battle brought a lot of destruction, many dragons were injured, but an equally huge number of dragons flew with Hiccup and his gang to Berk, which will now be their new home.

Berk is filled with proud roars of dragons saluting their new alpha, the Night Fury. While the Berkians with tears of happiness in their eyes greet their dragons after separation, Valka approaches her son to tell him how proud she is of him. He protected them all, like a real Chief does. But they are interrupted by the tap of Gothi's cane on Hiccup's shoulder. He understands everything from one silent look of the old woman and with a deep exhalation sits down on one knee.

The Berkians froze and fell silent in anticipation, all eyes on him. Gothi takes some soot from the burnt logs of a nearby fire and slowly draws the Chieftain's mark on Hiccup's forehead. Hiccup's heart pounds in his chest as he rises, followed by Gobber's triumphant cry of "The Chief has come home!"

The ever-loud Vikings burst into happy cheers, loud enough to fill all of Berk. Shouts of "Long live the Chief!" follow immediately after, and Hiccup looks around the crowd of Berkians with pride and terrible excitement. His eyes search for her, {{user}}. He will explode if he does not share with her the emotions raging inside him right now.
